Add the Jenkins repo key<\/p>\n\n\n

$ wget -q -O – https:\/\/pkg.jenkins.io\/debian-stable\/jenkins.io.key | sudo apt-key add –<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n

Add the Debian package repository <\/p>\n\n\n

$ sudo sh -c ‘echo deb http:\/\/pkg.jenkins.io\/debian-stable binary\/ > \/etc\/apt\/sources.list.d\/jenkins.list’<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n

Update the repo with the system <\/p>\n\n\n

$ sudo apt update<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n

If get an issue during the Jenkins repo update run the following command <\/p>\n\n\n

sudo apt-key adv –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-keys 5BA31D57EF5975CA<\/p>\n\n\n

Install prerequisites default JRE and JDK<\/p>\n\n\n

$ sudo apt install default-jre default-jdk<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n

Install Jenkins <\/p>\n\n\n

$ sudo apt install jenkins<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n

After successfully done the installation go to the browser and hit the YourServerIP:8080<\/p>\n\n\n

Then you will get this page copy read the selected path and follow the following procedure\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Run the following command to get Admin-Password<\/p>\n\n\n

$ sudo cat \/var\/lib\/jenkins\/secrets\/initialAdminPassword<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n

Copy the password assign the pass to the browser and click on the continue button.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
